The Dao of a fat guy
Huge disclaimer up front: anything I write, say, or demonstrate is nothing new. I have no secrets, no one weird tricks. Why even read any of this? ....Good question. Wait! I have a reason, because you can learn from my mistakes.
When I challenged myself to lose 100lbs in a year, I looked for resources to help me with it. And I never did find one that resonated with me. That may be true for you as well. Hopefully this resource does.
At the highest level we can say that the 3 pillars to weight loss are:
Diet
Physical Activity
Mental Hygiene
All three are important and all three are interconnected. Posts will usually fall into one of these three pillars. We'll start with a deeper dive into diet next.
